How to Use the Heating Pad
Start by placing the heating pad in the outer fleece cover.
Plug in the Thermotech heating pad.
Place the heating pad on the body area that you would like to treat.
There is a yellow on/off button to turn the heating pad on press that. A beeping sound will indicate that the heating pad is turned on. The settings are automatically set to a treatment time of 15 minutes at the lowest heat setting of 113F (45C).
To change the treatment time push the on/off button again, and you will get the 30 minutes time setting. Press again for 45 minutes, a fourth time for 60 minutes. If you push it a fifth time the heating pad will turn off. The light will indicate what time setting is used.
Yellow light – 30 minutes
Orange light – 45 minutes
Red light – 60 minutes
This Thermotech heating pad comes with 4 different heat settings. Press the blue button on the controller to set the wanted heat. The light on the controller will indicate what heat setting is used.
Green light – 113 F (45C)
Yellow light – 130 F (55C)
Orange light – 150 F (65C)
Red light – 166 F (75C)
You can change the temperature during the treatment, which is good if you feel that it gets too hot or too cold during treatment session.
Some have experience the heating pad getting very hot to the extent where it has burned. Even at the lowest heat setting it gets very hot. So be careful before you have figured out what heat setting works for you.
When the treatment time is over there will be a soft beeping sound and the Thermotech heating pad will turn off automatically.
Auto off Feature
The heating pad will automatically turn off after it reaches the set time. There is no setting for continuous heat.
How to NOT Use the Pad
Do NOT start on the highest setting – The first time you try this heating pad out, start on the lowest heat setting. Try that out first and go from there. This item gets very hot and you don`t want to burn yourself.

The Thermotech King pad comes with a removable outer fleece cover. It`s comfortable and soft. The cover also comes with a Velcro strap so that you can fasten it to your body.
This cover should be hand washed only. To dry it, let it air dry.

Dry or Moist Heating
This is a heating pad that use the humidity in the air for the moist heat treatment. No added water is needed for the heating pad. If you live in a dry area, using a humidifier can help bring extra moisture to the pad.

To be honest I am not sure if I want to recommend this product due to how hot it gets. So if you are sensitive to heat, take a look at the Sunbeam XpressHeat heating pad instead. This is a good alterntive that does not get as hot.
