  • Take herbs like milk thistle, burdock root, dandelion root, and green tea. These protect and cleanse the liver.
  • Eat a lot of fiber, including fiber you can find in fresh fruits and vegetables, and brown rice. Good detoxifying foods include seaweed, chlorella, spirulina, broccoli, cabbage, artichokes, radishes, and beets.

  • Drink plenty of water—at least two quarts per day.
