Stretching the muscles can cause decompression of the cervical spinal discs so the discs do not bulge from the line of the cervical vertebrae and there can be a release of the constriction of the nerves and the circulation to the nerves and vertebrae.

The neck massage pillow is also able to take off the pressure due to stiff and painful neck joints, relieving pain and maximizing your neck mobility.

How to Use the Cervical Neck Traction Device

In order to use the device, you need to place the NeckSoft around your neck and then adjust the circle to the size that fits your neck with the nylon strap located in the front of your body.  Put on the air-release screw and then begin to pump the device up.

You should then adjust the clutching condition at the lower part of the circle and keep the traction angle as is most comfortable or as is prescribed by your physician.

Use the hand pump and pump it up until the neck is resting comfortably within the circle.  After you have finished pumping, you need to put the pumping ball into the upper pipe in order to keep the air from leaking out of the device.  You can use the device for twenty to thirty minutes for minor and medium traction.  Use the device for 1-2 minutes if you are using it for major traction.

You should start gently, using minor and medium traction and then go on to doing major traction if it is still comfortable to do so.  The treatment should be done two to three times a day for ten to twenty days.

If you are suffering from a serious neck or shoulder injury, you should talk to your doctor before using the device.  After the treatment is over with, you should push the ball back first, letting out the air very gradually by turning the screws on the device.  Don’t ever squeeze the device to let out the air.
