Let’s start with the most popular ones, the large heating pad, size 14″ x 27″.

 

Large Battle Creek Heating Pads

The large heating pads work real well for your back, it might even cover your whole spinal area. It’s also large enough to use for your hip or leg. If you want to wrap the pad around a joint, using a large thermophore heating pad can do the trick.

These are the 4 different large heating pad options available:

  • Model 055 – Battle Creek Thermophore Classic

There are three things that set these heating pads apart.

Model 055

The 055 Classic Model is the simplest option. It comes with the manual hold down switch. When you let go of the switch the heat starts to automatically decrease gradually. The heating pads does not offer continuous heat or the extra moist feature.

 

 

Model 155

The 155 MaxHeat Model comes with the slider control so that you can enjoy the heat treatment and not worrying about holding the switch down for heat. You have 3 heat options, high, medium and low. It stays on for 20 minutes then it shuts off automatically. No extra moisture option.

 

 Model 255

The 255 Classic Plus Model comes with the classic, simple hold down switch. It does come with the extra moist package though, great for dry climates.

 

Model 355

The 355 MaxHeat Model. This is the most “decked out” version. It comes with the 3 setting controller that you can set the heat to stay on continuously for 20 minutes. It also comes with the extra moisture package.

The medium sized pad is 14” x 14” and suitable to treat smaller areas. This smaller heat pad works great with your shoulder, knee, stomach and back.

Maximum temperature is 176° F or 80°C.

Model 056 Classic Thermophore Heating Pad

Model 056, the Battle Creek classic model, comes with the classic switch that needs to be hold down to receive heat. comes with automatic moist heat pack.

 

Model 156 MaxHeat Thermophore Heating Pad

Model 156the Battle Creek MaxHeat option, comes with the slider control. You have three heat options, low, medium and high. It produces moist heat by using the humidity in the air.

Small Battle Creek Heating Pad

This is a smaller longer heating pad that can be used for joints like elbow, knee and ankle. There’s a Velcro strap so that you can wrap the pad around the joint and fasten it.

The small heating pad, size 4×17, comes in two models:

Model 077 Classic Moist Heat Pack with the classic hold down switch.

Model 177 MaxHeat comes with the 3 option controller, where you can keep the heat on for about 20 minutes.
